Just be aware that is rated at 65W so that it will consume 65Ah / 12hrs of operation. If running off batteries this may be a significant load.
As an aside, it is rated to remove 400ml of water per day at 30c and 80% humidty (RH)
If we assume the internal volume of the van is 20m^3 (2m x 5m x 2m) then van volume would contain 486g of water (at 30c and 80% RH) Ideally after 12hrs the dehumidifier could remove 200g (=200ml of water) and the humidty (at 30C) would be around 45% RH a much more comfortable level. Of course this assumes the temperature remains at 30C and there is no input of external humid air such as breathing etc !!

I looked at them 12 months ago. All my research indicates that they are worse than useless. If I remember correctly choice magazine tested them and said the same.
