Motorhome Preserving the Fibreglass Walls

I notice the walls of my Avida motorhome are a bit dirty and dull and while washing the water turns a little white.

Does anyone know of a product that may restore/seal the external walls please?

Have looked locally and quite confused on what to, or what not to use. Thanks

Essy how old is your Avida? It may be a warranty claimable fix.

Normal fading or weathering of the MH usually can be brightened up with a good buffing with a protective polish (such as Meguires) - Local panel repair shop should be an affordable fix.

Note vehicles that are left out in Australian weather/sun/rain, need to be polished with quality product every 5/6 months, (otherwise paintwork will become chalky, particularly poor quality fiberglass panels).

I use a Fibreglass polish called Nu Finish on my Motorhome, it is available at most Auto Parts shops. Use as per instructions and you will find that it will do the job.

Hey Possum, my RV is a 2014 model, not much chance of a warranty claim!

It sits out in the WA sun all year with no cover so I can expect a bit of fading!

Guess I will try some of the suggested polishes, just got to grow about 6 ft taller to reach the top.

Essy, ask a boat shop for a good fibreglass polish that won't take the gel coat off.

Thanks for your advice all, I have looked into the options but, SWMBO says I'm too old to be climbing ladders soooo,

I am going to have a professional detailer do the work for me on advice from those around me. I just have to pay the bill!

I can fit another game of golf in while he is doing the work biggrin
