Hot Water Valve Diverter

Hi All,

Just wondering how many have fitted the diverter valve and do they think the cost of $250+ is worth it. I know that when free camping having a shower wastes some water before the hot water hits the rose, but really how much?. When I wash the dishes I usually collect the cold water that come s out and store it in a billy to use later for tea or coffee making, But it does seem that with nearly 200lts of water available, I can only free camp for seven days (wife like to shower DAILY) (me every 1+1/2 days). so just wondering those that have one fitted how much longer has the valve allowed you to not have to refill.

Perhaps a bit off topic, but my Wife showers twice daily & shampoos hair daily, including blow dry, while I shower & rinse hair daily.

That's why we rarely bush camp I suppose.

Suits us & has done for 26 years of vanning.

Can't help you with the terribly expensive sounding diverter .. different world.

ps. I know of a guy who has his wife shower standing in a tub & uses a battery operated pump to re-use the water for his shower.  Hope she doesn't pee in it. LOL
