I see they are all right hand shifters. Used to send the apprentice for a left hand shifter back in the day.

For new bank Johnny's it was the verbal agreement form.

One green young bank Johnny sent on the errand at Cowra went to the bank down the road, struck the new bank Johnny there and he came back to the branch WITH a verbal agreement form.
They scrounged around til they found something close to the description.

For new bank Johnny's it was the verbal agreement form. Wrote R Moor.

In my day it was The General Ledger, a closely guarded secret of all the Branch Transactions.

It got handed over a few times, by new Johnny to new Johnny.

You can bet your bottom dollar that no matter what toolbox you look in the 10mm one will always be the hardest to find, that's if you can find it.

One of my 10mm Stahlwille "proper" spanners is in hiding!

Similar situation with a very tiny & very ancient German un-chromed adjustable spanner up to a whisker >10mm.

The 3 ratchet socket drives are 1/2", 3/8" & 1/4" Stahlwille, the 1/4" drive has a 10mm Stahlwille socket. The baby socket drive is Bahco, a brilliant drive, use it endlessly (I should buy a spare...or two).

default_340.jpg

The most used drive is the baby Bahco, but I always use the Stahlwille sockets on it, keeping the Bahco sockets as spares (they are hex sockets & not dodecagon which has benifits).

I use the 370mm Chinese adjustable spanner surprisingly on too many occasions (& not for self defence)... but can't quite get myself to invest in a number of Stahlwille spanners on the plus side of 1 inch. Have $2k of 1 inch & smaller Stahlwille spanners & sockets... they are so nicely manufactured, difficult not to buy them!

The most valuable item in any tool box is the stubby holder.

Makita have 18v fridges which look within reason like a toolbox.

I stuffed up, not going to fit in with my Bosch tools!

Still looking for my second 10mm Stahlwille spanner. To put it bluntly, I am a bit pis_ed off that it is still in hiding.

One middle size Stahlwille spanner is the cost of a complete range of Chinese metric & imperial spanner set at the typical hardware store.

But I did find this metric and imperial spanner at the bottom of the toolbox.

On the other side of this brilliant spanner it has stamped 'drop forged made in China'. Quality product & forethought design that the 'west' has no hope of competing with!
