Good timing.
I planted a complete raised garden bed yesterday with Kale seeds
Also planted a heap of Honeysweet corn in my lovely central west NSW soil, can grow babies in this stuff.
Uncovered an old coin, it was really worn, almost beyond recognition, says One Penny, is still soaking in vinegar but has been underground for a long time.
Where I found it, and many other things, including Chinese snake image belt buckles, Dr Morse Indian Root pill bottles, gold rings etc was the old 1860 gold rush Cobb and Co waystation location burned down in 1906.
About 100 metres away was a large Chinese camp, hence the many Chinese coins and artifacts ploughed up now and then.
Bushranger Frank Gardiner's brother had a property nearby and I often wonder about the likes of Gardiner and Ben Hall wandering around my back paddock!!!!
