Well I must say that I am More than disappointed with this new "version."

It is so far totally unworkable from my point of view. Icons that obscure so much of the map,
to and fro looking for info, no separation between favorites and general, no place names on
sat view, or roads either, missing sites as already mentioned and the most abominable navigation
regeime imaginable.

I'm just not going to be bothered with it further until I see here comments that the thing is
working something like the old version.

When I think of the hundreds of travellers that I have demonstrated and/or recommended
the old version to I wonder why this load of ???? has been released.

What is it like in the other countries for which maps are available?

It is eminently suspect that the architect for the job is standing on his/her head to have
come up with a write that is so hopeless in so many ways.

seems the old adage that you get what you pay for is so true here - I would happily pay
a dollar a week for the old version (I use it 4 to 7 months a year) but this version is
in the naughty corner till it gets a major fix.

Be wary what you say on facebook. I just had a post declined on the WC users site. Why? Not sure but was referred back to sites terms of use. All I said was that I didn't like the terminology used in the new version. Because, I didn't feel it represented the use of the menu. I questioned the use of "collections" (that the filter where you find your favourites) and "affiliations" (thats the filter where you can choose National Parks and Forests. Who would have thought?

It seems from the many hundreds of Grey Nomads on this Forum, it's a small handful of users that are having trouble navigating the WC updated "filters" features.

Have had a look at the new wikicamps and an old saying comes to mind "lipstick on a pig" and yes if you post anything other than rainbows and flowers about it on fakebook your post just gets declined.

Comparing my Windows version (not updated) with the new Android version they appear identical to me. No caravan parks or camping areas at Cossack, but several points of interest and 3 day use areas in the area. More if the area is widened. Point Samson has a couple of caravan parks but that is well away from Cossack.
Google tells me about a couple of camps nearby but the website for one is up for sale. Not sure on the other. Maybe they are no longer available.
Anyway, I believe it is an improvement. Not perfect but better. Others think otherwise. I don't need to say any more.

AWtT- the matter is that on the old Wike there IS sites in Cossack!

I still have the old version operative and I just searched for a simple site
that would indicate my dilemma.

How many more sites/towns have had stuff deleted?

Please state exactly what is missing from Cossack? Cossack has no free camps, hasn't ever had any to my knowledge, and has definitely never had a caravan park, just day use areas. The database hasn't changed, if you are seeing something different then the issue will be your filters.
