Their loss.  People will go elsewhere to spend their money and probably realise that an "iconic" venue is not a prerequisite  for anything.

Wow, this has stirred the Haters up more than the controversy over Coles putting Hot Cross buns on the shelves on Boxing Day.

For a bit of perspective, I ran the story past my 9 and 8 year old Great Grand kids.    The Australia Day date has been discussed in school and the consensus seems to be that a date acceptable to all Australians will be sooner rather than later.    Two factors stand out.    Firstly, most of the angst comes from older people (who will die out , soon) and Secondly, the rate of Immigration by people who could not care less about the date of white invasion Is not important to our New Australians.

So are you saying it is a good thing that our country loses it's identity to "New Australians". Are they the "new" invaders. A "second" wave????

Maybe they can pick a day they would like to change to and call it "Invade another country day" or suggest a country name change to some remote village in Syria or Gaza maybe.

Could we change our name to Gaztralia possibly, or Ausruit, Ausbanon?

If so, maybe they can pick a name our esteemed (current) real estate mogul, jetsetting PM can pronounce pwoperwly instead of the smuttering Aushwaylia he spits out.

Is it true, as I heard on a news morning show this morning that the chain of pubs keen on barring Australian day celebrations is owned by a Chinese billionaire.
If so, it is a good thing that this has been exposed. It is hard to boycott Woolworths and Qantas as they have huge Oligopoly's and there is not much competition to go to.
The FORMER CEO of WW with his banning of the Australian flag on sale and the one-eyed Yes vote FORMER CEO of Qantas shot themselves in the foot and thankfully are no longer with us spreading their divisive beliefs.

Slowly but surely these propaganda types are shooting themselves in the foot.

I googled those pubs last night, fortunately they list them all on their website, giving fair dinkum proud Aussies some info in order to give this lot a wide berth and hopefully send them into liquidation.

Also, if the foreign ownership of these pubs is true, as reported this morning on TV, then how much company tax are they paying in Australia on their obviously huge profits ?????

These "new" Australians have a greater sense of national pride and identity than the grey-haired Menzoid lackeys of a long dead British empire. It is they who will finally rid us of all the anachronistic vestiges and institutions, and establish a society that everyone can be proud of.

Wow.

A very skilled name caller. Now it is the turn of a ever diminishing percentage of fair dinkum Aussies to cop it.
I will not lower myself into a name-calling battle or derogatory comments.

Just to say that I am proud to be a TRUE Australian.

Let us not forget that only last week there was a huge backlash in the school system about sex education classes where one of the assignments was to ask young teens to write about their "preferred" physical sex act.

So, in conclusion, do you really think that ALL that is taught in our schools is necessarily the right curriculum.
Or have they been infiltrated by some loonies who are simply pushing their own weird and misguided beliefs. The parents of those kids certainly thought the learning outcomes in this instance were out of line?

So do I.
