I have the next level up with LCD screen. They are marked at $79 but show as out of stock. I note theer are a few on ebay. I have not looked to see what the differences are.
The downside with Telstra modems is that they are locked to Telstra. Unlocking will cost more than the modem - $80. Reduces to $25 after 6 months, Free after 2 years. Other telcos also have modems, but I am not familiar with them.
There are more expensive options, or you could just use your phone as a hotspot.
