Rear camera problem

I have a Safety Dave camera on the rear of my Windsor pop top, and a clip on screen (over my mirror). I run a Suzy coil from the van to the rear of the Jeep and the. Connected to the screen.

it has worked perfect for a year or so, and now it wont work, it cant find the signal, only change happened is a new windscreen.

i have checked the connections in the Car.. is there a way to check to find where the fault could be ?

i wonder if there is a fuse somewhere in the van ?

or is there another way ?

Hi.

This is what happen to me when I connect my Suzy coil.

If I have power on at the accessories I blow the fuse as I go to connect. The fuse is only 5 amp and is very light.

I find the 5 pin Suzy coil connection a bit how you do to connect, the guide to connect is hidden, so I make sure I have the power off.

So now find your fuses and have a look, I feel that where your problem will be.

I would think in the car because that would be where mostly the power source is obtained.

Thanks, the car has a power source for the screen and it works well, it appears I do t have a video signal coming thru from the van, but not sure if there is a cabling issue along the way

If you only have 1 camera have you checked to see that you havent accidentally switched from V1 to V2.  You will get a message saying no video signal.

Yes that was the first thing I did, I have checked all connectors within the car, and the fact the monitor displays, shows I have power, its the video signal gone missing.

There's a huge site called digOPTIONS.

They have everything you would ever hope for - in cameras for vans theres some beauties
that are completely wireless (other than a power supply, of course).

I'm a tech dummy but I pluged and played straight off. Beautiful colour display and a variety
of cameras at half the price of third party resellers.
