I am going to get my caravan raised, it is a New Age Manta Ray. The proposed lift will increase height around 90-100mm. Has anyone had any issues with this being done. I have see other blogs where it appears fairly common practice. Any advice? It will be completed by a service place and we have 2 x costs one with an engineers cert the other without prices differ a bit between the 2. Thanks for any comments
My son had their single axle Jayco Expander suspension/axle/wheels and tyres all replaced by a trailer builder who also issued a new compliance plate reflecting the changes and a significant increase in ATM. No engineer required or used. The new springs were Old Man Emu designed for the rear of a Toyota 79 series. Wheels and tyres were 17" compatible with their Pajero tug. It transformed the caravan handling and added some height.
It has since been 12 months around Australia including the GRR without issue.
What suspension is under your van?
Cheers,
Peter
