I have a Thetford three way fridge N3185 it's not working on 12v, I have found that the 20amp fuse and holder is the problem thetford have updated the size of the fuse and holder to 25amp because of over heating, I have asked if I can just change the fuse and holder to 25amp on my PCB they wouldn't confirm. As thetford only sell the complete updated control board with parts I don't need all I need is a PCB or if I can just change the fuse and holder, can someone advise if I can buy just the PCB if so where from and part number.
Have removed control board, one post on holder and one side of fuse completely burnt, new control board to be fitted.

Where did you find that reference to changing the fuse size to 25 amps? How old is it? What does "not working" mean?
If they admit 20 amps is too small maybe you could try the claim that it should be replaced under warranty as a design flaw.
btw I suppose you are aware the 12v is only intended for temporary use or when travelling. I don't know about that model but usually the element is smaller and would not keep it as cold as running on gas or 240 volts. That is apart from the high power consumption.

I contacted thetford and asked, as I have read a problem with the fuse over heating and melting the plastic holder, I was told that an update had been done to change the fuse and holder to 25amp from 20amp. The fridge is working on 240v and gas, just want to use on 12v for travelling the fridge is app 5 years old. The old control board part number was 691101 updated number is 692248. also all voltage was tested and found to be within spec.
What does "not working" mean. Did it ever work? If it is not blowing the fuse then I can't see the fuse is the problem. In that case, possibly a failed element, voltage drop at the fridge, poor connections, etc. More information will get better answers.
I doubt anyone could reliably tell you it is OK to just use a bigger fuse if the manufacturer won't.
