CPAP machines

Good afternoon everyone

i forgot to ask, in my water pump post of yesterday, about CPAP machines whilst caravanning. Any recommendations? The Sleep centre advised that the portable machines are noisier than the bigger machines. I also wondered about battery draw as I mostly camp offgrid.

Much appreciated

Carol

I keep my old Philips dream station in the van ( it has had the insulation in it changed as per Philips Class action of a few years ago ) as I can run it directly off 12 volt. I have never found it to be noisy and running it without the humidifier I have never found Battery drainage to be a problem.
Cheers Landy

My daily use Resmed 9 runs off a $40 ebay 12v-24v adaptor just fine, never use a humidifier. As below, it uses about 4% of my 120ah AGM per night.
