I have a Kings solar blanket. It has eight material eyelets to secure by pegs to the ground. The eyelets have now stretched and are just strings hanging off the blanket.
So, my thought is to replace those eyelets with metal eyelets in the same location but in the border perimeter of the blanket. Has anyone done this?
If not, would anyone know what the composition of the border frame is and would it be suitable to fit metal eyelets in those locations?
I would be intending to fit eight eyelets all up but don't wish to damage the blanket if the border is part of the solar area or wired with joining cables.

Update to my post...
Further research revealed that the upper and lower borders are not photovoltaic or electrical. The 3cm border is purely strengthening.
So, it is possible and the eight eyelets have been installed. Tested and all good.
I have posted pics in case anyone is thinking of doing similar.
