G'day Rod,

B.E.S.T. are pretty good for in-line filters with regular garden hose snap fittings.

Me, I run with a twin system also with the snap garden fittings. First filter is a .05 sediment filter and second is a Ceramic filter, both 10". It is set up just before water enters the aluminium tent. The Ceramic filters all sorts of things including that horrible calcium that ruins glass and stainless steel, leaving marks that can't be removed. Not cheap but well worth the expense. I change to sediment filter every 2 months and the Ceramic every 12 months. The sediment comes out looking like chocolate. Bin it don't eat it.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

My relatives in Germany, their region has so much calcium in the water. You need to boil a bit of vinegar in the kettle every day. Saucepans & jars etc they soak overnight.
