How long are you prepared to wait to get to 80psi.
Basically all the compressor manufacturers state maximum psi, but that is with zero litres (or cubic feet) per minute. Then they state litres per minute but it is at zero pressure, actually 1 atmosphere.
To speed things up I run 3 ARB compressors in parallel & a 4 litre tank, the old model, not the brushless model. 70 to 90 amps. 90 amps at cut off at 135psi. So at 90psi I have about 4.5 CFM, actually less as I have lots of connections, moisture trap & after cooler.
At least ARB provide a graph, so looking at the "standard" 90 psi you get some idea of litres per minute. Knock off about 1% volume for every connector & every metre of air line as a rough guide as all these things slow things down. Also wire in heavy gauge wire, I use 4awg, can also use my jumper leads.
My tyres are 255/60r18 & can inflate each from 20psi to 35psi in 28 seconds. It actually takes twice as long to deflate them.

The closer you get to your 80psi tyre pressure, the compressor will take longer. My 3 compressors in parallel according to the gauge on the moisture trap run at about 120psi. I am stopping at 35psi in the tyres. I have noticed that the standard tyre valve is at its limit of how quickly the 3 compressors can push air through, as the compressors are a touch ahead of what the valve can cope with. The pressure gauge slowly goes up from 120psi. I basically have 3 time the pressure of the tyres, so plenty of headroom so to speak.
On this graph you can see that at 80psi how much slower a compressor is.
From what I have read, the new ARB brushless compressor has about 50% more capacity at lower pressures, but it is closer to only about 20% at high pressure. So something else to factor in. Compressors will have different pressure profile depending on their motor & piston height vs diameter.
They also get seriously hot the longer & harder they are pumping, over 100°C.
