Am revisiting Off road hitches, I realise the D035 Hitch is the most common for Off road Tandem vans, but prefer to keep to the 50mm tow ball for our Van, Boat and and, so its an ARK ORXO 50 at 3.5ton.
To me unlike the Standard Hitch that does not need to be directly above the towball, 10mm or so, either way and pushing the A Frame over will link up, to me these off road couplings need to be directly over the Ball/etc and lowered down with no side pressure to lock.
So to keep our relationship calm during the backing process to the above Towball location am looking at Hitch Camera with my Phone showing the Towball /Hitch positions.
Camera temporarily mounted magnetically on rear lower door of our cruiser pointing down to the hitch.
Just wondering about how good is this camera with [ 20 feet of wireless stable transmission,)
Appreciate comments from anyone with a similar Hitch Camera
As for the camera the saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. Saying that I have no idea on the quality of it. I did buy an Oricom wireless camera after watching a few YouTube reviews but I was a little disappointed in the video quality. It did have a good range on wifi though. If you used it enough you might get used to the video quality. I don't use mine often enough, sits in the drawers in the back of the ute. I just might have expected too much from it.
