Although the Grey Nomads forum is focussed on issues affecting the grey nomad lifestyle, discussions do sometimes meander into other areas of general interest, particularly in our I Digress section. We do however ask that members avoid discussion of politics and religion as experience has taught us that these issues can lead to bad feeling and this is, above all, a positive forum.

 Let's get this straight. Does this mean we cannot discuss things like the Ukraine/Russia goings on, Iran,Yemen,Lebanon and many other international arguments? After all, these are both political and religion based. I'm not sure what we can discuss and what we can't any more.Your advice on this issue may be useful at some stage.

Thanks everyone. It is true that we do not allow political discussions on this forum. Experience has taught us that these discussions inevitably result in bad feelings and personal attacks, so we decided that a blanket ban on politics is the best approach. Although this may affect discussions such as the Iran war, as well as American politics in general, we would like to keep our forum a positive place to discuss the grey nomad lifestyle.
