We are now at Clifton - showgrounds. $7/night with power & hot showers. We will probably stay a couple of days only as on Saturday is their annual race day at the grounds here. Might be fun but I think we will be surrounded by race goers making merry.

Gday... I had quite a few of these around my camp on the Burdekin River last week (near Charters Towers). They are about a budgy size and even though it does not appear that well in the photo, have a blue tinge around the head. Cheers John

Because we have been in WA for over 2 years we have accumulated a lot of stuff which we do not wish to travel with. Frieght rates to NSW seem excessive. Does anyone have any ideas about sending cartons east that may not cost more than the contents of the cartons?
