(Preview)
Hello All. Not sure if I am in the correct department for this.? I have a Jayco Freedom 2002 Pop Top that has developed a leak in the roof at the very back. I have located the leak, after removing the Ceiling Panel, and it is a rusted screw that appears to be under the J Mould (I think that's what its called) on...

Went to an expert, almost some sort of relo, and he found that there was " no continuity reading ", pull oem plug back apart and some signs of...

Compressor Fridge power usage
(Preview)
Hopefully I will get a quick answer, as Im on the road tomorrow I have a 165 litre compressor fridge, and the specifications state 12 volt consumption 80/24 hours approximately. Does this mean that when in use it should use around 80 amp per 24 hours? I have 3 x 120 amp AGM batteries, not sure of age as th...

Voltage from grey anderson plug?
(Preview)
I recently had a van wired up ready for towing a caravan.
Excuse my ignorance on this subject, but what voltage should the grey anderson plug be putting out?
The vehicle does have a smart alternator, like most modern vehicles, and it has not been bypassed.
My vehicle, and one other I checked put ou...

I am looking for a portable stove that will work on low pressure so I can connect it to camper bayonet connector with the new FFP flame failure protection. I have contacted many of the makers and cant find anything that has both to meet new regs. Sincere thanks

Ideas to fix awning please
(Preview)
It's too hard to describe so I'll simply say "See the photograph." Suggestions please for getting the thingie (what's it called?) back into the roller and, ideally, keeping it there. In the past slackening the awning and using a pair of pliers to move it 3 or 4mm at a time has partly worked but it seems to...

Oh Oh they say you cant call it a 4WD! its an AWD, and they go on and on and on. It peeves me. Really whats it matter? In what Bible gives the correct terminology? Im a r...

A query to other Avan owners: Has your Avan been fitted with the Elektroblock EBL 109-6 or similar battery charger, and if so, has the DC-DC function been wired in? In my Avan RayII the Anderson plug has been wired directly to the fridge, and not to the EBL 109. Also the fridge is not conected to the van's...

We have a built in Thetford cassette toilet but we are unable to put water into the flush tank. The flush pump runs dry and the glass sight level shows empty so it is reasonable to assume that the tank filler is blocked and the tank is empty. Has anyone had a similar problem and/or know how to get access to t...
