Slide-outs leak?

This is my first post as a new member. We are planning on upgrading our small van and going 'on-road' for a while! We are looking at 23ft Jayco Sterling with slide-outs but have had one or two comments that they leak. Does anybody out there have this problem or know anything about it? Be grateful for you...
