Replaced catches in motorhome. Hope this helps others . Here I used 3/8 drive 3/4 socket to hit out on push in surround . After takeing two screws out to remove catch . The pushed new surround in door or drawer . Screws button on catch . Assemble . Done . Good for another ten or so years ..

I've previously had a camper trailer and have just bought my first caravan-an offroad one-and will be travelling through the outback regularly. Can anyone help as to what is the best way to stop stones hitting the van and/or my 4WD. Thanks

With our Insurance Co. QBE. we save heaps of dollars as they have a deal where by you can select how many months your van will be at home base and the premium is reduced to accommodate the fact they it is out of harms way. Well worth checking with your Insurance Co. Jay&Dee

Hi all. Just replaced the noisy old water pump with the Shurflo. Got it and the pre filter for $113 from Caravans Plus. Can hardly hear it at all. The boss is well pleased so I am too. Should have done it years ago. Cheers. Col

Collect a few pumice stones about the same size as a normal fire starter and keep them in a small jar of kero. Take one out as required, works very well. If you can find it in the fire after it goes out it can be re used. -- Edited by grahamg on Tuesday 19th of May 2015 08:41:13 AM
