Folks, does anyone know of a free camp in Mildura (an over-nighter). I have heard of one near 'Kings Billabong' that also has toilets but not sure where it is. Can anyone direct us? CAW6 mentions Kings Billabong but doesn't say it has toilet facilities... Cheers!

Spent some time at the Kooka's Cookie factory today. She was telling me there will be a dump point erected in the free camping area between the two bridges in the next few weeks She will ring me when it's finished.

Lovely free camp at Vaughan Springs south of Castlemaine, about 19 ks. Have your own soda fountain, toilets, gold prospecting, walking tracks. No power and you have to take rubbish out when you go.

Another good spot is Schultz Beach on the western side of Lake Hindmarsh. There is plenty of room for any rig, it has a toilet block, is free, and while the water level is a bit low there is good redfin fishing in the lake.
