No joke, a friend did the tour guide stuff in kakadu. He would stay with me, when in town, as his tourist were secured at one of the town spots for the night, and he needed the break from them.

This night he is laughing his head off tell me how he introduce "Drop Bears", telling them that they needed to put "Vegemite" on their necks to repell same. Next day when starting out to somewhere with his group and, two of them, have vegemite smeared on them!!!
