It does take all kinds to make our would, but being nasty is not on my list, I don't see any point in it, the only one to suffer in the long term is the one being nasty.

PM's are for making contact NOT for posting comments that one would not like others to know about, like having a go at another member, as others have said if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all, simlpe really ain't it.

I am very disappointed to hear the PM system is being misused. I urge in the strongest terms for anybody who has received unwanted messages to contact me immediately. I will not tolerate this system - which is designed to allow people to move friendships forward - to be misused either to send abusive message or to promote products, websites or anything else. I cannot act unless people let me know what is happening. I will, of course, treat all PMs as strictly confidential.

That's correct Cindy.

I will now state IF anybody sends me an abusive PM I will not do as others on here have done, mention it in a post, I will in the first instance email Cindy as requested, I will then copy & paste the PM sent to me and name the member involved, not as others have done on here mentioned the PM but not said who was involved, so beware if you want to test me go ahead.

To date I have not received any abusive PM's.

I have just received an email from Vic. He has asked me to close this thread now. Thanks everyone for your comments. I hope we can all move on now in a positive way, and I urge anyone who has concerns about PMs or anything else to do with the forum to contact me.
