E books

We just use our Ipads, no issues at all having also had a Kindle years ago. Like all Ipads just adjust it to your own eyes, no issues at all
Simply join your local library(free) and access all their ebooks, download books via one of several apps available freee.
You have access to thousands of books both fiction and non fiction plus a list as long as my arm of all other categories
Borrow times is for 21days and if the book is out you just place it on hold and as soon as it is available they notify you via email for you to download, so easy even for a Dinosaur like me. Oh, and you can borrow 10 books at a time
You can also access their Audio books if thats your thing
Try it you will never go back to a Kindle in my opinion

Look up Bookbub heaps of free books available daily through Amazon and load directly to my old Kindle. Each morning the days books appear in my email and I just click the ones I want. Amazon opens you make sure its $0 then with one click it downloads to Kindle. Been using it for about 4 years no problem. Every now and then I buy one if I like the title.
