Ozi2, the hitch works fine and is standard. No problems opening the back door etc.
I ordered a tow-bar when I ordered the Pajero. The dealer very was very obliging and fitted the 4" lift mod to the spare wheel, which give sufficient clearance for the hitch.
The only problem, is the rear view camera is now higher and just misses seeing the towball - but I get around that.
Andy, Love that car! I have just upgraded my tow vehicle (Warm White, PlatinumII) and was wondering if you have done anything with the rear springs? Our van is 2500kgs and as the car is so new I haven't had a chance to tow it around the block yet; that will happen later this week. Our previous tow vehicle required stonger rear springs.
A great looking rig and the Pajero will tow it so well you will forget you have it on the back. I have not changed the rear springs on my pajero I have a set of Haymen Reece bars that work very well and much cheaper than changing rear springs.

Thanks for the feedback guys. This is a Platinum 1 (Nov 11). Just been away for a few weeks inland and it tows the Jayco easily and although it looks fairly level I did notice some lift above the front wheels. First thing I'm doing is PolyAirs in the back then a Hayman Reece WDH to limit a small amount of sway/porpoising I'm experiencing and also help with the balance.
