Forum Niggles

Howdy all,

I am sitting here catching up on the forum and all the different sections now I am not travelling for a couple of months and have noticed there seems to be a bit of the "niggles" here and there. I was just reading "Solo's" and it's in there then put up a post in "Techies" and it's in there as well. I never paid attention in English lessons at school so my Grammar and Spelling could be much "bettera" smile and I also notice it a lot on here but hey, who really cares, I for one don't, there is just too much good information, great people and some fun on here so come all those people niggling enjoy here and life, it's all too short. Don't let these petty little things annoy you, I have a few that when I see there Av next to a post I just go to the next one and enjoy that instead.

Come on now lets have some fun and enjoy this great wonderful forum and thank the "webmaster" for it. I have said it many times, Thankyou "webmaster".

Have a great festive season/s all and please,

Just ignore whatever doesnt sit well with you Doug. These things settle eventually. Cindy does a great job moderating such a widely diverse lot as we are. Happy Christmas Cindy!

Good on you for your post Dougwe. I know that you don't get upset with niggles that may be aimed at you. Your great disposition usually turns the niggles on their head and you get great "mileage" out of them. And I also will tell you that for free.

Niggles? What other people think about me is there problem! An Irish friend once told me "There's not enough happiness to go around" so don't worry about the negatives, like flies they will always be with us; with a good attitude you can cope with the flies and enjoy what happiness comes your way!

exactly dougwe i too agree, people need to think about what they are saying sometimes before they say it
i only went to high school till the day i was aloud to leave which i was 15 and a half years old ,however i did have
an excellence at spelling and i thoroughly enjoyed it too, i will however state since i have gotten older i think i have
become lazy and sometimes make mistakes, and my hubby well hes a whole other story hes hopeless at spelling
and yet sometimes amazes me when he spells a hard word easily.

But the man has made something of his life and has two hands and a brain and can just about make or do anything
you ask of him, many people dont know how to do a lot of things but if we all took it with a grain of salt the world would
be a lot better place.
i too wish to thank cindy the webmaster for a wonderful job im sure she has so much to monitor that she doesnt even
get around to it before its too late ,but still has done a job worth a million smiles, as this site gives me a million smiles
and i have a team of warriors backing me up in my health problems.

'Proof-Reading' is also subject to ones own capacity and many of us simply do it automatically .. thats because we can ..

If one doesn't understand a 'post' then it's not difficult to direct an appropriate question to find out .. those that promote a 'self-perceived' intelligence above a level-playing-field stand out with the morals attitude we've seen .. they appear quite unable to accept a status that falls beneath their self-imposed dignity because their intelligence isn't programmed to cover that ground ..
