Well I finally decided on my next vehicle to travel this beautiful country in.

We picked the 26' 2013 Jayco Optimum. It will be specially built with our choice of internal colours and a few extras to make life comfy, so we don't get it till about June which suits us fine :)

Very flash. I had my heart set on a Talvor Hayman, but this could be better. Do you know internal height, as I am 6'6" (200 cm).

Price ?

Hi Chris

I am 6'3" and it's fine for me. I looked at the Talvor and every other motor home going around and always came back to the Jayco. They had more in them and seemed a better setup than the others for what I wanted.

Price wise it depends on what you want with it, but you don't get much change from $170K

I got mine from Prestige Jayco in Geelong, this is my second one from them and they have been fantastic at every stage..

Give Mitch a ring there if you're interested and tell him I sent you and to look after you :)

Wow!! Looks awesome!! We had excellent service when we bought our Jayco Starcraft recently. Wonder if they will be as good when I ring them on Monday to tell them about the front boot full of water and the trickle of water inside the van!!! :(

Looks great Brett - love the candle on the table - even though it does have a slight bend in it!!!!!  Glad to see you got the swivel seats in the driver's cabin - makes great seating for visitors -
See you soon!

We've had excellent after sales service on our Jayco, Buffy... mind you we've needed quite a few minor repairs. Leaks seem to be tricky, wish you luck.

Very Nice Brett, Looks like a great set up.
It always amazes me why people say they couldn't live in a Motor Home or caravan there's no room.
It's a veritable palace and well set out with all the comforts of home and to me plenty of room.
The magic thing for me is the view out the window. Real estate people always say Location, Location, Location. Well the view every day can be different and as good as it gets.
Hope you have many years of happy travels.

Did someone say OB? Now there's a term I remember from my old radio days.
