How nervous can you get. My daughter was wheeled into delivery at 8.15am this morning for a caeser. It is now 9.45am and I am waiting for some news.

I've been a good nana, have dressed and fed Deegan, put the washing on, now that's finished. Only one other job I have is to vacuum the house before Renee gets home with the new bub, around Monday/Tuesday.

Deegan's gone to his Aunts for the day to play with his big boy cousins.

Maybe I should find something else to do to keep myself occupied.

Nate Jordan Marua L....... was born at 9.09am. Looks just like his big brother. Could be around the same weight as Deegan born, hasn't been weighed yet.
All very exciting, my 4th grandchild.

Weight 4242 g or 9.7 a good weight, lighter than Deegan who was 10.1

I am so relieved the whole event went smoothly, unlike the terrible time she had with the first one.
Heading down tomorrow with s.in.l for the day. He has to get there early to do the bathing etc, so we are leaving here before 8am.
Will be heading back up north in a month, to get some warmth. Not liking this cold at all.
Will have to get in plenty of cuddles before then as won't be back down this way till about Xmas.

Congratulations Marj and everyone else. So glad that everything went smoothly this time. I'm of the humble opinion that grandkids are a reward for having had kids. Get in lots of cuddles while you can.

So true Gary, he has a very loud cry too.
Spent the day down at the hosp. Once again I was the first in the family to change his nappy.
He is a gorgeous we chap and all going so well. They will be home on Monday.

Boy they don't stay long these days! Tell me HW - is it more emotional for the mother when it's her daughter who is having the baby? I've only had daughters-in-law have babies so far. By the way, he still got a good start on life with his weight even if he was smaller than his brother.

Yes I would say my daughter having a baby is so much more emotional, but that could be because the other grandkids mother has always been a problem from the start.
My eldest son has never had any kids.
But having 2 boys and 1 girl 10 years later every thing has been quite different.
Yes a good weight. A good start in life for sure.

They all arrived home about 3pm this afternoon. All going well, have had another cuddle.

Beth, this one makes four for me. One girl, the eldest, then 3 boys, all with unusual names. Ashlyn, Connah, Deegan and Nate.

Don't think I will be getting anymore.
