milo, it could be the Qvo6 virus you need to download and run AdWcleaner, after that you need to right click your browser icon and select properties and make sure that the Start in tab is the same as the Target tab, if its not the delete the Start in tab and copy and paste the target tab to the start in tab.

You also need to go to your browser option and make sure it is not in your preferred start page, if it is then delete it from there.

Do not use most of the tools on Google only trust AdWCleaner

You also need to get it out of your Control Panel/Programs & Features, delete it.

That is if its that virus, you have downloaded something and not noticed that they put the toolbar on your pooter, in future ALWAYS do a custom install of anything.

do you know if it was the Qv06 problem, not really a virus more of a hacker job.

have a look in Control panel/Programs & features to see if it still there, uninstaling FF or Chrome will not get rid of it

turn pooter off then back on and it will be back

did you try turning off your pooter?

when you open a browser you will have two tabs open, one will be Qv06, if its not like that then you maybe ok, don't go paying for tech support to do jobs like that, they over charge, but maybe you pooter is still under warrenty
