Hi all fellow campers we need your help ? 

we are looking for a quiet friendly place to spend Xmas away from the maddening crowds 

preferably free 

what are your suggestions ? 

we are in Sunshine Coast and heading Sth towards NSW 

We are pretty flexible prob will go inland 

or maybe a house sit ( have just finished one here on the Coast) til round end jan but consider anything

Keep on coming south and have Xmas with us at Greens Lake, Jules has already plans for Xmas day so the more the merrier.

We have several definite's and more thinking about coming, you will be most welcome as will any others reading this thread.

Do you have a copy of Camps 7? (or an older copy of camps 6?) lotsa free/cheap campsites in there.... but be warned, everybody has the same book and some campsites can be VERY busy over Christmas holidays.

Try looking on google for The Scenic Rim - places like Darlington Park, great camping - low cost or Flanagans, also low cost -don't know a lot about other areas than Scenic Rim (used to live there).

Joyful - how about some details as to where Brown's Creek is - you say Sunshine coast - is it in the Camps books? Wikicamps? Toilets, water? how long can ou stay!

Yes I do have Favorite Place..
the only issue is that I have not seen enough of OZ at the moment..
- I found some great spot's in the USofA

If I had the Money I would go back in a heart beat..
3 month's is to short a Time to really enjoy 18,000mile's.. I would have to say it was a Quick trip.. I would love to spend a few year's see the site's..
I did NOT see a single Bear in the wild..

I did have some great time up in Jarvis Bay area..
I'm going to have to have a good look at where I want to go..
I do want to cross the Nulla..
