Amenities-"dunny"

Hi All,

To those that have been to "Greens", is the toilet a "drop" or flush? I'm traveling from WA to Bathurst NSW in a camper/tent & then to "Greens" to say G'day to those that are there.smile

I've got a Thetfort 365, but plan to stay in c/p's all the way, to & from, except "Greens". I don't have battery/solar etc but have a new "unused" Thetford. If I don't need it , is it necessary? I'd rather leave it at home.  In other words "are the ablutions" okay? or would it be better to bring my "own"? Also where would I empty the cassett, is here a local "dump point"

Thanks Robbiggrin

Also could you please arrange good tent weather while I'm there, Thanks.biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin Will be there late April, early May.evileye

Howdy Rob, toots are flush and reasonably clean. If you are like me and like clean toots just take some Glen 20 spray with you. People empty there porta toots as well, just no chemicals though.

They usually get cleaned Thursday or Friday but I have seen GN's also cleaning, including myself.

Enjoy your time there but be prepared to stay the extra day as most do.

Edit.....BYO toot paper too mate.

You can buy disposable toilet seat covers (tissue types) in Chemists too Rob, although I just use toilet paper to wipe the seat and sit on, flush down after use depending on type of toilet....

Antiseptic hand wipes (or liquid) is good too if there is no running water to wash your hands after....
