Soak it in Nappisan for several hours, agitating occasionally so all surfaces are well covered. then rinse well. You can do it in your washing machine on Gentle if you don't let it spin while the shower curtain is in there.
Thanks for the replies. I sprayed the shower curtain with Sard Wonder oxy plus . Then soaked curtain in Vanish napi san Oxi Action it removed the mould.
Remember that Mould is an organism. If you don't kill it off completely it will come back. It will also comeback if you leave the shower curtain gathered up. When you are finished your shower wipe the curtain with a towel to remove most of the water on it. Close the curtain so that it dries faster. If you notice mould or mildew on any surface mix a 50/50 mix of bleach and water. And spray the affected area and just leave it for 15 mins when you go back you will see that the mould is gone. Make sure to completely rinse the curtain off and allow to dry.
Remember that bleach WILL affect the colour of a lot of materials, check your first.
If you don't want to spray the bleach don a pair of gloves and but some bleach onto a rag and just wipe it over the affected area.
1/2teas. Of oil of cloves mixed in a spray bottle of water is a good remedy for mould and will not fade things like bleach does and smells a lot better
I once read that bleach does not kill the mould. Seems that it only changes its color & perhaps even feeds the very resilient mould after it (the bleach) breaks down.
Yes have heard that about bleach Cupie. You have to use a very strong solution for effectiveness.
Vinegar seems to kill mould, but I don't like the smell very much.
Nappisan or similar (which works like peroxide) claims to kill fungus, and seems to be effective.
