Long life cream

If you like your smoothies creamy, Devondale now have 200ml thickened long life cream in packs that don't need refrigeration. I keep half a doz packs in the pantry for my daily smoothies. In case you're wondering, I also add Sustagen, peanut butter, Greek yoghurt, brown sugar (helps to sweeten the cream a bit), egg, honey, extra full cream milk, and a banana. And I'm still skinny!

Hi Gary,
I too always carry these small cartons of long life cream in the van - try this with it:

Chop up mushrooms and pan fry in a little oil, then add a slurp of oyster sauce, and a drizzle of cream 'til you are happy with the consistency and flavour - they're yummo!!

We used this last night while free camping in the wheatbelt. Whipped it up and served on meringue shells with fresh strawberries and passionfruit syrup. Yum mo. aww

We also use this at home, and away Gary,

The Devondale Long Life Cream, and the Long Life Milk "The creamy one",

is to us, almost impossible to distinguish, between, the "Normal" Fresh.

In fact we never buy fresh, since finding this product last year

I also use both normal but mostly the Lactose Free UHT cream and milk regularly and most of the time when travelling. It makes super frothy milk in the coffee machine and I always use the cream for cooking .. Can't tell the difference between them and cheaper than fresh. UHT packaging is easier and more compact to dispose of than plastic also.
