Yesterday (Wednesday) we had a couple of visitors, as well as a new arrival!
The visitors were Richard (Jetski1) and his little family, just for the night, and to do a job for Gunnago - install an awning she had been given for her Coaster bus - good job Richard (with a bit of help from Keiron, Billeeeeeee and John).
The new arrival is Sarg - great to meet him at last, he is here for the summer, well set up on the flats, had a happy hour at his camp yesterday afternoon, then he joined us around the fire later on. Welcome Sarg - think we will enjoy getting to know you.

A couple of new arrivals in Rosa (Rob and Sally), parked up on the treeline, and Revemike (Mike) with his wife and some friends from Tasmania. Welcome to you all, but I think Mike and co. might be leaving today, bit worried about getting rained in and missing the boat back to Tassy! See you again guys!
Rob and Sally will be staying a while, and good to have them - really nice people. Couple of real Greens Nutters!
Dougwe will be back today with his new van - we have tidied his camp spot up a bit - and can't wait to see the Chief!!!

Good to meet you all too, Jules. We have decided to wait until the morning and see what the weather is like... If it looks like there will be much rain we Weill vacate to Aysons for the night.... Otherwise we will stay... This spot is just too nice to leave any sooner than is necessary.
After staying at both Aysons and Greens I think I have to say I prefer Greens... The river is nice at Aysons but the quiet and space of Greens is tops!!!
We have had a fairly static time at Greens, apart from Dennise (a friend we met in Tassy, and who has been here with us for a few weeks) left on Friday to visit a friend, then catch the ferry to Tassy. Fun lady, will miss her.
We had Lynne arrive and set up a ladies clothing marque, of course we all went to have a look, some bought, some didn't.
George57 arrived about 9pm one night, will be leaving on Friday - he and Fatdog enjoy coming to the lake and relaxing - sorry to see him go so soon, but he is still working.
This afternoon a 4wd drive pulled up, and there was Barrie and Di (Barrie), they are camped down at Aysons Reserve, but came up to say g'day - by the time they went round and spoke to everyone, it was quite late in the afternoon when they left. Thanks for coming guys - nice meeting you!
Just remembered another visitor today - Plendo (David) and his co worker Bill, on their way back to Melbourne from Kyabram - and David had to show Bill his summer holiday home!!! Good to see you David - see you and Carol at Christmas.

I have been a bit slack with my "comings and goings" - but I will try and catch up.
Over the last week, Paul and Hazel (Poppysoreeye) left to have Christmas with family. Lynne (Travel Lyn) also left, heading to family for Christmas also.
TCP99 (Terry) came for the night, but left en route to pick up his new van, but he will be back to show it off. Also arrived was Just Cruisin (Jim and Leoni), also on route to pick up new van - Santa Claus is being very generous this year!!!
Yesterday afternoon Reg and Lyn (Reglyn) arrived to stay a night, but they will be back on Sunday.
EXA41 (Dennis and Yvonne) came back a couple of days ago, to spend Christmas at the lake, as did Lockie and me (Keiron). All were welcomed warmly, always good to meet more Gn's.
So - I think I am up to date - will try and keep it that way!

Been a bit slack - but there hasn't been that much movement - EXA41(Dennis and Yvonne) headed for home on Boxing Day, but will be back. Yesterday we had Gunnago and Shadyandme (Heather and Norma) head off to Kyabram for shopping etc., then to stay at Girgarre till after the closure here at Greens (midday 29th till midday on 1st Jan) - Dougwe, Glenelg(Dave) and TCP99 (Terry) are heading off to Girgarre for the three days. Sarge and AME25 (Colleen) also left this morning heading to SA, Sarge on a house sit, and Colleen to explore - they aren't coming back here this time. Also left yesterday was Alan and Val (honorary members), heading home to repack and head off elsewhere for a while.
That leaves - SnowT, Yeoeleven, Rosa, Madnos, Lockie and Me, and myself and Billeeeeeee. (Spida (Vida) is leaving tomorrow to make her way south to catch the Tasmanian ferry on NYE. The rest of us have a private camp to go to for the couple of days, for which we are very grateful.
We will be back at Greens on New Years Day - come on up and visit or stay a while!!!

Jules, you need to get things right. TCP 99 is no where near Girgarry and never had plans to go there. I do know where he is but it's not my place to say.
I really think you need to ask people first if it is alright to say where they are going or at and not just now but anytime. There might just be a reason why they haven't mentioned it, yet. (Not everyone likes the world to know their whereabouts.)
Hope the mass exodus is going well and all are mass exodusing. They better be all going and I tell you that for free.

Doug, I think that is a bit harsh Jules is trying to let the forum know what is going on at Greens and in no way aiming to impose on any ones privacy.
Doug - I have been doing this since we got here, no one, until now, has said a word about it! And why are you posting, and not TCP99 himself, if it affects him so much - what are people hiding from that they don't want people to know where they are? The cops - the Feds, ASIO?
