About 6 drops of rain so far Paul but I noticed Bendigo, approx 70 km away had flash flooding etc. The skies became black as here but moved around us. This time. The weather gods are saying they are not going to be as kind over the next few days though.

Hey Doug, not having visited Greens before, does the camping area have all weather road/track access?? Just wondering if one was camping there in bad wet weather, can you get out in a 2WD vehicle & van?? All the pics look like it's solid ground.

No problems Wayne, just don't camp along the lakeside in heavy rain
Hey Doug - that's 6 drops more than we got in Perth and the south - it hasn't rained at all here for 44 days now. Most of the rain coming over into the Eastern Sates is from tropical weather heading over from the Pilbara - it never seems to go south - always east!!

If there is heavy rain at the Lake, be very careful driving on the roads down from the top road. It is clay everywhere and the roads become very slippery and boggy, very quickly. Been there and done that and seen people either bogged or not being able to get enough grip to get out. My advice would be to avoid the Lake if there is going to be a lot of rain unless you wish to be stuck there for a few days.
There are others on the forum that could attest to this probably better than I, however I have been stuck there with rain making getting out very hard. Had to call in help from outside. These pics were taken in April last year.
No problem here, YET, Judy. So far just light continuous rain so roads are wet but will get muddy soon and worse if rain gets heavy as predicted. All good though as the weather gods gave warning so no need to go anywhere for a few days if need be.
