Tug for 18'6 Windsor caravan

Hi, we have bought our caravan and now need to get a suitable tow vehicle. We will be moving from NZ to Brisbane in February to get set up and are considering a late model, low mileage crew cab - maybe a Holden Colorado with a canopy for extra storage. What's the thoughts on the Isuzu D-Max?

Welcome to the gang Jumper, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Both vehicles you mentioned are very similar and both good. I was looking around early 2014 and had both the Colorado and Dmax side by side and had trouble separating. In the end the dealer's made my choice for. Holden came up with a much better offer.

I am so glad I went with the Collie though, great vehicle and I reckon probably the best car/tug I have owned.

Welcome from me too Jumper, I got myself a late model DMax, cab chassis with full fibreglass canopy (workmans) And it does more than I need. Great economy and Heaps of power ....love it !!! Happy hunting either way you go. Both are good tugs. Cheers.
