New Baby Q question

I took my new Baby Q for a test run to our Bush Regen group 10th anniversary breakfast and did the cooking, it turned out fabulous.

My question, do I need to remove the plates when travelling, the lugs they sit on don't look very big and thought vibration might crack them, am I wrong?

I have read lots on many forums but they never say if they remove the plates.

Thanks.

One word....NO

That word said.....I travel full time and have had my Q since they came on the market many moons ago now and even put all the bits and bobs inside on the plate while travelling around, no problems.

I love my Q.

If your Baby travels in the back of a ute I suggest using something to hold the lid down securely, either an ocky strap through the handle or even (as I do) a blanket over the top.

The reason it any vibrations CAN cause the lid to fatigue & crack.  Probably would need gravel/corrugations to do it though.

DAMHIK!

The blanket also protects from scratches.
