After following all my Grey Nomad friends for a couple of years now, I'm happy to be able to spend a few hours at legendary Greens Lake.
We left Sydney Sunday morning and stayed at Gundagai that night and tonight we are at a nice little CP surrounded by dozens of kangaroos and lots of birds at Glenrowan.
So tomorrow is the day! We'll arrive early and camp overnight. I'm not expecting to meet any Grey Nomads as we are a month or so early but it will be good to see the area.
We then plan to head to SA via St Arnaud and maybe look around the Barossa Valley, Burra then home via Broken Hill, one of our favorite spots.
I hope we will meet up one day.
We stayed another night at the lovely caravan park at Glenrowan and we have just arrived. 2.30pm. If you are still here we will wander down to the ramp in a little while.
He must have been out putting up signs Happy Wanderer or maybe exhausted and sleeping after cutting all that grass because I couldn't find him.
My son and I walked to the point and back and called out as we went past. We'll try again tomorrow.
