I was getting complaints from my Mac friends that jokes that had been sent to me from other Microsoft users (like me) were being received with no pictures, just crosses.
One solution that was very time consuming and impractical for multi pictures was to save the pics to My Pics and then send them from there, but most of the time I didnt do that as it was taking too much time to do so.
So I resorted to just not sending (onforwarding) those jokes with pictures in the body of the emails to those using Macs.
However a friend who has a Mac suggested to me that when someone sends me a joke with pics in the body of the email, instead of Forwarding the email to friends, use Reply instead.
Before you send it delete the original sender from the Reply field of the email, and then add your friends to the email instead, either by name in the To field or as Bcc (I prefer to use Bcc).
Bingo, I dont know why this works, but now my Mac user friends get the photos instead of the crosses they received before.
Thanks to my friend who put me onto this method which is not according to Hoyle but works!...
