We here at Greens Lake have just finished 4 of probably the best days in history of GN visiting this great place. The weather has been in the mid to high 30's with today topping 40c. The lake has been like a mirror and about 5 mts out from the edge nice and clear. Standing back up on the road in looking down you could see why it is called "Greens" Lake.
Yep, we do get some windy and wet days but these last 4 days sure make up for those and more. Late January through to end of March is the warm time here and 43c is expected tomorrow.
Now, what colour are you
Keep Safe everyone.

Too hot for me Doug, that's why I'm in Echuca at my daughter's in the airconditioning. Will call in on Thursday for an overnighter on my way to Geelong on Thursday.

Sounds wonderful mate. We are heading the Tassie on Sunday. Away for a short 28 days. Have to be back by Feb 15 for my lady to have the blood test... Enjoying it while we are able to
It was 48c with hot north wind on Wednesday mate....HOT. Even the water was hot so would have fried my little mate, the cat.
A change came in from the south early yesterday morning and only got to 19c and chilly south wind....COLD after the hot days.
Mate, as we are speaking the sun is shining, no wind or rain and the day is starting just nicely. High 20's is expected today...niiice.
Oh! Forgt to say Gene was let out for a little run on Wednesday and performed as she should. I did have to keep her chained up so she didn't wonder too far

Glad to hear that you survived the HEAT. Did Gene have to recharge the batteries or run the AC?
The Update of the website today suggests that the boat will sail as scheduled... I am watching Updates on the TT Lines website. We are ready to roll when we are called. The Saturday night sailing has been delayed by 2 hours, but Sunday (at present) is in changed...

I'm glad I didn't come there this year. I stayed here at Lightning Ridge, and (surprise) this summer happened to be quite mild. Temperature didn't go up more tham 42c for couple of days, and most of the time now holds about 28 to 34. Even some days with rain, and cool - rarity here this time of the year. I hope to be at Greens sometime around December this year. In the meantime, Happy 2016 to all!
