AlanandNise's set up

We tow our 2014 Supreme Spirit Series II with our Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and it is a great combination. We have 420 watts of solar on the roof and a 120 watt portable panel if we're in the shade. The  van has 240 Ah of AGM batteries. We used to carry a 2.0Kw generator too, but since I upgraded the solar we are generally back to full charge before lunch each day, so the generator has been retired.  Water capacity of the van is 190 litres of potable water and 95 litres of grey water.  It's a great set up for free camping.  The van weighs about 2800 in ready to roll condition, and the Jeep handles it easily. On our trip north/west last year we averaged about 14.8 litres/100km for the 15,000 km we travelled, driving at about 96km/hr where the Jeep seems to have a real sweet spot.
