Oh Burger, did think that I would catch up with you both as it appears you are almost always around here, ah well maybe next time, also definitely will not be here at Easter. Heading back towards South Oz then home but will take a fair few weeks at least. And will have to find a hidey hole for Easter it seems. It appears the locals don't know what a bin is for even though you can't miss them.
Well, we survived the weekend, very crowded even people camped on the upper road turnaround, my wife had to move a kid's bike and the parents just sat and looked at her, camped between the upper road and the trees, not too bad Saturday, just blaring duff duff music till midnight, at least they turned the gene's off at 11pm, Sunday was a little worst, two groups battling it out and we were between them (no close though). They were going till about 12.30 this time, Monday was quiet early in the morning until the trail bikes started and windy in the arvo but someone still needed a fire, crazy. Today is quiet with now about two thirds of the camp empty and a fire still burning somewhere .
G'day all. Doug didn't tell you the truth about me leaving ? He pushed me down the steps of me van and broke me leg, ? he was in there on me red ? Me son came and put all me things away for me and we both drove back to mount Gambier . Next time I am going to park other side of ramp ? And chuck ping pong balls at him ??

Hi all going into hospital this morning for opp on me leg . Was not going to well the leg that is , me I'm fine looking forward to having a Red after opp thanks guys
Came out of hospital Tuesday 29 with a rod in me leg and full plaster up to the née . Looks like I'll be in mount gambier for a few weeks thinking of trading in my 5th Weeler for a van that's lower to the ground if price is right or have new steps made for it. Plenty of time to think about it now?. Time for a Red now
Hurry up and get better Dave. Greens is not the same without its resident mayor here at the boat ramp. Even the locals are missing you and are asking where you are.

My great grand parent, for staying out after dark got transportation to Australia for 7 years.
Hope you are up and about soon Dave. When you have your tug set up to tow a 5th wheeler and you then revert to towing a caravan, what happens with the hitch in the centre of the tug. Does that just remain or is it taken out and patched over. Sorry about the dumb question, just a bit intrigued.

DMaxer, take the hitch out and patch over. Unless I sell ute. & 5th Wheeler together, I am happy with the D max that I have. Thinking of taking tub off the back and putting a cab with side doors on as it would be better to get stuff out. Or put canopy on tub . got to think about prices as I'm a old fart.?
Hi Dave. Just realized you had an accident. Hope all is well. So easy to slip and fall over after a few reds as you have previously witnessed !!! Take care ol' Mate. Hope you are on the road again soon.....Regards, Ken.
