Our Rig

G'day all;

We are new to the site and thought we might share our recent acquisition with the group.

We've just purchased a 2010 Montana Balonne 21' pretty well set up for free camping with 2 x 95 ltr water tanks, shower, toilet, club lounge, dual gas & batteries plus solar panels on top.

Also has the other usual inclusions.

We are heading to WA in July for a couple of months and just like to say we have found the web site very informative.

Gary Newnham & Julie Craine.

That looks pretty good to me, one my favorite cars is the Disco series 2 td5, wife bribed my one of me and traded it in on the Navara. Thats life.

Free tip be warned trees touching your van like that in the photo is a invitation to ants to say hello.

Enjoy your travels.

Nice looking rig Gary & Julie. Enjoy!

I back you on that tip Radar, at home we park our van under a macadamia nut tree which had a couple of small branches resting on the roof. There was a constant trickle of small ants sharing the van inside and for the life of me I could not work out where they were getting in. I sprayed the wheels, jockey stand and levellers with surface spray but they were still getting in. Worked out in the end that it was via the tree. Trimmed the branch, ants gone.

Hi Gary and Julie, welcome to GN. Great looking setup there, yeah watch those ants, we had them in our van for months finally got rid of them using "Talon ant killer gel". Enjoy your travels.

Cheers Owen.

Nice set up, hope you have a lot of great adventures with it.

Thanks Radar

I was wondering how come we had an ant problem, we have parked with trees touching the van.

Cheers
Vince
