Lovely to hear from you. Just turned computer on for a second to check emails, as we are losing all power for the day from 8am, until abt 3pm. As soon as I can this afternoon, will reply to you in full with photo's. Hate to be halfway through and the power goes.
Firstly apologies for not getting back in touch yesterday. Our power certainly did go out for the day and didn't come back on till well after 3pm. I took the opportunity to get out into the garden, getting sidetracked as one does, and then it was too late to turn the computer back on, after power resumed.
Now to answer your question. Our van is 2.4metres high (with poptop roof locked down) and 2.5metres wide.
I have attached some photo's for you of inside the van. Do let me know if they don't go through OK as have had some problems with attachments of late. If you would like a few more of just the outside of the van, I have those too if you are interested.
It is a really comfortable van and in immaculate condition. Plenty of storage space and excellent towing.

Thanks Sue & Rod, yes the pictures attached ok. I'm not certain how the width of the van will go; also the single beds (I may have to put my foot out the end somewhere as I'm 6'6" tall). We are leaving Toowoomba next Sunday so we should be home in two-three days. If you get another enquirer, please don't hold it for me. If you still have it, I'll definitely be in contact for a look.
It's the same year as our Eagle - which is getting well used (this trip will be another 10,000Kms by the time we get home) & we have to head back to SW Vic again in December!

We do have a couple of people very interested in our van, but nothing confirmed as they haveto sell what they have, first. So, it is still on the market.
Rod, my husband, is also very tall, around the 6' mark. Me, I'm the shorter one. From the photo's, the bed on the right hand side is abt 6" longer than the one on the left. Still fits single bed sheets etc. but he has no problems re the length.
Vans used to be only abt 6' widths, basically the same width as your car, but now all vans are 7' with the exception of only a very few.
We always manage to get down to Victoria each trip. Our eldest daughter has recently moved down there for work. As long as one is not in a hurry, it is certainly a pretty place, although a long way. We are actually born and bred from down there, moved upto Townsville from the Dandenong Ranges area, some 18yrs ago now. Victoria is so hectic with so much traffic now, even the country areas, although that was the original reason for moving up here, peace and quiet.

Thanks for your replies. Two questions remain -
What is the internal height with the roof up?
The width of 2.5m seems to be very wide. Most of the bigger vans are somewhere between 2.35 & 2.4m (nearly 8 feet).
We actually saw a Freedom at Bowra Station (just out of Cunnamulla) in July & had a quick look at their kitchen area. They said it had more cupboards than the equivalent Coromal (perhaps a van I would have had a closer look at if some were available). Other friends (currently at Cobram) also have a smaller Freedom & are quite happy with it.
As far as Victoria goes, my brother is at Chiltern, our daughter is at Warrnambool & son with our grand children is at Canberra. We just got left behind but they enjoy the odd tropical holiday!

The outside width of the van (remeasured) is 2.32mt (7'7").
The kitchen area is wonderful. It has so much cupboard space for all your bits and pieces for cooking and storage. A huge bench area for preparing and serving. There is a narrow cupboard as you walk in which is fantastic for condiments, sauces, bottle liquids, etc. The shelf insert just slides in and out, so extremely easy to find things and keep them standing upright when travelling. All the drawers around the kitchen are quite large. In the far right hand corner on thekitchen bench, you can see a small handle, this opens up a corner storage area with large hanging basket. There is a shelf above the kitchen bench on the right hand side, from the fridge to right hand corner of kitchen on top of the side window. This is plenty wide enough and deep enough for containers for things like tea/coffee, sugar, salt -- all things you use alot. When the roof folds down the canvas holds all the containers in place for travelling. I have never looked for more storage area, in fact I still have space to spare and I pack miles too much - "just in case' items as we were normally away for 6 months+ at a time. Rod also manages to overpack including tools to meet whatever happens in van or car.
We have had wonderful holidays in the van since we bought it and have never wished we had packed extra. We have found it so extremely comfortable in both very hot and freezing cold temps. If and when we may look at purchasing another van in the future, it would definately be as near to this one as we could get it.
Rod particularly likes this van as it has only single axle, not dual wheels. He has space on the back for 2 spare tyres.
