I was having a "computer" day today, and thought I would read about some of our new members, don't always have time to keep up with them. Anyway, this inspired me to post this on the "Welcome and Read The Forum Rules" sub forum -
"I have seen many people come and go on this forum in the six years or so that I have been a member.
Something I have noticed over the last six months o r so, is the number of members welcoming novice members, and wishing them well.
A lot of the "welcomers" are relatively new members themselves, I think that this shows what a welcoming and friendly forum this is. Sure we get a few who go a bit too far sometimes, as do all forums, but if someone is annoying you, being rude to you, or you feel a post is getting "out of hand" - notify Cindy via private message, she will sort it out.
So this is my WELCOME to all new members, if you have just joined, or if I haven't welcomed you before - enjoy the forum - read all the sub-forums - Solos (eve if you are not a solo), Techs, Get Togethers, I Digress and the General Forum - as well as the other sub-forums - join in the guessing games - broaden your knowledge of this great country."

Nice one Jules personally I don't welcome new members as Iam a relativey a new kid on the block , I feel you should build up a bit of street cred first
I responded recently to a new members post which i thought i was the first reply so i welcomed them but by the time i did another three beat me to it . No big deal really this site is for all members use and welcoming a new member by an existing member no matter how many posts completed , is all ok by me

In a normal situation, it makes me feel good to be welcomed, whenever I go to somewhere new, or meet someone for the first time, (which I was, when I first came to this forum)
I can only assume that it may make others feel good, if they are welcomed
