There's nothing quite as beautiful as a full river
It's a plan to get there for a bit for a look

It may be beautiful but some of the local farmers and caravan park owners would be thinking differently.

Well done Pam and Joe. Those 2 shots of the same tree as a before and after really tells the 'picture' there.

Your other shots are good too Pam.

Nice pics guys, and yes Pam as a farmer myself I am more than aware of the implications of an "overfull " river, however ,
I am also aware of the value of a full irrigation water storage system with the prosperity to follow .
Talking to a rice farmer today last year he had only 50 hectares sown ( no water ) this year 250 hectares .
With a yield of around 11 or 12 tonne to the hectare I'm sure you can see the difference to his income and hence his ability so spend a lot of that money around the community, yes there is pain during a flood and we all feel for them and their losses but we farmers are optimists at heart (have to be ) and are always looking forward to better times.

Probably should have used this pic of "the tree" earlier - you can really see the difference now.
