I may be incorrect but I seem to remember in one of his many posts he mentioned that he was going to have a medical procedure.

I hope he is OK..

Even though he hasn't responded to the threads, I still feel his presence. Yes I hope he's OK.

He purchased a motorhome about a week ago

Hopefully he is gallivanting around the countryside, having the time of his life

Below is the link and I must say that his motorhome looks very flash

Sorry.
Down in Brissy on Pain trial.

25 yrs permanent severe pain. 24\7.

9 days trial. ZERO pain..

trial is half implanted with cables and power pack external.
Wires up back into neck alongside of spinal chord.
For mine. (neck pain) elsewhere for other pains.

A lot on here have chronic pain to some levels.
This implant is final stage.
there are 2 others below but not suitable for me
everybody different..

Some here should see local doc, and enquire, (NEVRO)
and look up on net.
Earlier (coupla yrs ago in US). they had a few problems with battery pack
But no comments nowadays.
it is the latest upgraded system of pain management.

ZERO pain for full trial and pain back next morn after removal.
Good enough for me.

Early FEB permanent install.
Trials (3 stages) free. Incl this one. Full cost for permanent. $33 grand plus.

Cost to us. $3670. $2600ish after medibank.
then less again after your medical.

I've spoken to several who have. and in process of.
ALL positive. and All have relief in a mix of pain, and drug reductions
afterwards..

The pain returning within, 12 hrs, just strengthened the fact. It works.
ON ME 97%. Adjustable levels.
Mine set for "average" neutral setting (4 out of 7) Can be increased manually.
Some the same. some less.
Hence trials first.
9 days out of your life to find out. to me.
is a no brainer...
Specially with my trial results.

and a nod from Psychiatrist report.
($180 less any medical fund returns) The only costs for all three stages.

It costs NOTHING to try out. only time.

Surprisingly girl.
You get used to it. Sorta.

Basically put it to back of mind and think of something else.

You're right. it IS surprising what humans can do to\for themselves

PS. Anybody see Woody 2.
Tell him to keep eye on drain tubes (dual flow.)
When the outlet stops. turn off tap and yell\bell for nurse to backflush it b4 you bloat.
if they backflush (blood clots) when you bloated. You yell..
It stops a lot of pain that way. Believe me.
I've had mine done twice. first time I yelled.
second time I turned offf input tap.

With age comes experience. Not always the wanted kind hey.

Pete49.

""ask on the caravaners forum about him. at over 130yrs old he may be sore""
Pete.

--------------------------------------

Hey. as I told a lot of the whingers over there. after most of the normal people left.
I travelled all my life. over a lot of the Western World. working and cruising.

From 13 yrs of age. Looked after myself from around 9 yrs (Self and younger brother)

You pick up a lot of things in your memory banks about a lot of things.
Don't need to be old. Just willing to move around experiencing and enjoying life.

Most of them, were office\factory, one place persons all their lives. Most.
Just lived in one spot all their lives and did nothing much but work on one job and breed.

No REAL lives. Just a tax paying. breeding "civilised" existence.
Myself. and a Heck of a lot others. Actually travelled for work (chasing the money)
and seeing/learning a lot at same time.
Much more interesting lives.
I lived and cruised on my yachts on and off for 30 plus yrs.
over a 50+ yr period.

Those people have NO comprehension of real life\living.
Outside the square..
I've lived in back of Zephyr on cans of beans.
I've lived in Hiltons
(Townsville comes to mind when digging out the lakes project with that large excavator in early '90's.) on $125 a dinner meals every night.
and everything in between.

It's ALL life and it's variations. Experience them and enjoy.
EVERY SECOND.
You ain't here for too many of them in real numbers..

worked on construction of non existent (in those days) UK Motorways. Main feeder Gas pipelines (36in). in UK Ireland. Atlas mountains\Sahara desert. Alaska line in '66. Canada. Germany.

Much more interesting lives. ALL of us.
Not the sedentary stay at home in the one spot. no variations in experiences .

YUKKKk. Boring to me.

Here.. Yeppoon . Is the ONLY place I've ever called home in my 75 yrs
and I'll leave here via a flush of dust down the dunny.
If madam in a bad mood hey.

Or maybe scattered over between the islands out there. Preferably.

Just enjoy the lives YOU.. make for yourselves.
Nobody else can do it for you.
and some think money and wealth make the world go around.
It does. In small circles.

Enjoy.
