Rockylizard's post "Why is it so?" Reminded me of Prof Julius Sumner-Miller and his scientific answers to ponderings.

I remembered a Face Book segment I watched with fascination a few days ago - I'm sorry I couldn't find the article on U Tube and not being a genius with the retrieval of links from other FB sites this is the best I could work out

Very interesting indeed.

A very persuasive argument for a brain like mine, slow & uncomprehending as it is these days.  Long gone are the days where I could put together good arguments.

As with all of these sorts of things I usually get more out of the comments section .. before they deteriorate into the usual personal attacks (just like our Technical Sub Forum).

Worth reading the first few comments to this video too.

As usual I leave feeling confused & inadequate.

Asking where God came from does not have to be a religious discussion. I would answer the question "where did the car come from?" the same way. Which one?

It,s no different to the bible. EVERYBODY that reads it. Reads a differing meaning to every paragraph.. Somebody spent a lot of time making it so.The one book that suits all. And it,s all about the aforementioned item, whether it male, female, or a hyena. Just because WE human.. NOBODY will ever fathom it out, as it was designed. Which is why I,m a non practicing Catholic, that stopped going to Midnight Mass when they stopped reading it in Latin. ENGLISH......It ain,t Mass.

 If you reckon that there are lots of different meanings to stuff written in the Bible ....  Then try reading the Quran/Koran & the many interpretations of it .... I have tried on several occasions & gave up with little or no improved understanding.

Basically, the bible is for christians. Apparently (so i read) the koran is a dual edition. ONE FOR RADICALS. KILL EVERYTHING NOT MUSLIM AND BEAT ALL WOMEN. t,other is for peaceful norrmal human being muslim.Unfortunately, you can,t tell which is which. Therein lies the ploblem, Who,s got the bomb and who hasn,t. Hence. NO MUSLIMS IS GOOD MUSLIMS. UNFORTUNATELY. You have to think of your family first And that,s the end of my politics, back to fun hey.
