Hate guinea pigs!
Friends had one Silky Bantam left when they were about to take off on an almost endless journey round the country - so they took him - he travelled with them for about 6 years.

I have my budgie. His name, Is Buddy. I call him Dickie Whacker because he has this thing with his bells! I nearly got thrown out of a caravan park because of my mate. I wasn't allowed to have Dickie Whacker out of the caravan for my entire stay! He, apparently, could have caused problems with fellow guests. So, travelling with pests, sorry, Pets can be deleterious to other patrons because my budgie crapped on your door step! Sorry lady or sir, it was that big fat feral pigeon that did it, so when you stop accusing my budgie of being the pest and disappear into your van, the air rifle has turned that feral pigeon into tea!
Pets are vital to some people, I lost my wife last year and Buddy was my wife's budgie, he went everywhere with us. So he goes everywhere with me. The day my wife chose him, it was a joint decision, even to the argument with the owner of the shop, is it male or female. We chose him, and he is the best budgie ever!
So, bad news, never go to a caravan that will not allow pets! Who knows, God forbid, you might me!

Have no problems with people traveling with pets but be responsible for them. They are your pets not every one's in the vicinity .
